Watch: Joo Won, Kwon Nara, And More Tear Up During Emotional Script Reading For "The Midnight Studio"

ENA’s “The Midnight Studio” is gearing up for its premiere with behind-the-scenes looks from the drama’s script reading!

On February 15, “The Midnight Studio” shared photos and footage from their script reading session. In addition to director Song Hyun Wook and scriptwriter Kim Ah Rang, actors Joo Won, Kwon Nara, Yoo In Soo, and more attended the script reading.

Joo Won will play Seo Ki Joo, the photographer of the Midnight Studio who is also the studio’s seventh boss. Although Seo Ki Joo dreams of maintaining a work-life balance, he is sincere when it comes to taking photos of his guests. With great affection for his character, Joo Won dynamically portrayed Seo Ki Joo who stands at the crossroad between life and death due to a curse.

Kwon Nara will transform into lawyer Han Bom. Although she was once successful, she faces economical difficulties after stepping down from her position as she is unable to receive cases. Kwon Nara immersed herself in her role, even crying during the script reading and raising anticipation with her passionate acting.

Yoo In Soo plays the photo studio’s Assistant Manager Go. In his third year of being a ghost, Assistant Manager Go works at the photo studio that only opens at night. Yoo In Soo gave life to the set with his great energy.

Eum Moon Suk stars as the photo studio’s new employee Baek Nam Goo, Lee Bom Sori plays Han Bom’s close friend Kim Ji Won, and Kim Young Ok plays Ham Bom’s grandmother So Geum Soon.

The production team remarked, “[The chemistry] was perfect despite it being their first time working together. On this day, there were endless laughter and tears on set. Please anticipate their performance.”
