Yeon Woo Jin Dishes On His Upcoming Thriller Drama "Nothing Uncovered"

Yeon Woo Jin has talked about his upcoming drama “Nothing Uncovered”!

Based on a popular web novel, “Nothing Uncovered” is a thriller drama that follows an investigative reporter and an ace detective as they jointly investigate a series of murder cases.

Yeon Woo Jin will play Kim Tae Heon, a stubborn detective in the Violent Crimes unit. Kim Tae Heon, who once loved Seo Jung Won (Kim Ha Neul) passionately in the past, reunites with his ex-girlfriend due to a mysterious murder case and winds up going through a whirlwind of emotions.

On how he felt when he first saw the script for “Nothing Uncovered,” Yeon Woo Jin recalled, “I was intrigued by how various characters were tightly intertwined in one incident.”

Explaining why he chose to star in “Nothing Uncovered,” Yeon Woo Jin revealed, “The focus of the story seemed to be on densely portraying the narratives and emotions of the characters as they unravel the case. And that challenged me.”

On how he prepared for the character of Kim Tae Heon, Yeon Woo Jin explained, “Unlike the typical tough and rugged image associated with detectives, Kim Tae Heon has a very dapper and refined image. So I’m paying attention to highlighting Kim Tae Heon’s unique traits to give him his own distinctive charm.”

Talking about the atmosphere on set, Yeon Woo Jin revealed, “Everyone has exceptional attachment to the project. The set is always bustling with various opinions being exchanged. Through earnest deliberations to present better results, we are creating good synergy among ourselves. The actors also strive to effectively convey the deep stories of their respective characters.”
