KBS has started revealing the profiles of the contestants from its upcoming survival show “MAKE MATE 1”!
KBS 2TV’s “MAKE MATE 1 (MA1)” is a global idol debut project that aims to create (“MAKE”) a dream stage by bringing together friends (“MATE”) to become one (“ONE”) unit. The survival show will feature a total of 36 participants from all around the world.
With the show set to premiere in May, “MA1” has now begun unveiling participant profiles. Starting with the profiles of the first nine contestants on March 26, the profiles of all participants will be sequentially unveiled over the next four days, with nine profiles being released daily through the program’s official social media channels.
“MA1” previously made headlines when its contestants were invited to perform at an official stage event even before the premiere of the audition show, marking a first in the history of audition programs. On March 23, the “MA1” contestants performed a rendition of DAY6’s “Time of Our Life” during halftime of the Wonju DB Promy-Anyang KGC game held at Wonju Gymnasium, where they received a positive response from the audience.
