On April 5 at 6 p.m. KST, (G)I-DLE’s Yuqi released her solo single “Could It Be,” serving as a pre-release for her first mini album “YUQ1,” along with its music video.

“Could It Be” captures the essence of retro sounds produced by analog instruments from the 1970s. Featuring full English lyrics, the song delivers a dreamy sensation, reminiscent of the comforting feeling after waking from a pleasant dream.

On April 1 at midnight KST, Yuqi rang in April Fools’ Day with a fun video teasing the release of her upcoming solo song “Could It Be.” In the video, Yuqi plays both herself and a Cube Entertainment employee as she discusses plans for the single’s release with an accompanying music video.

Although Cube Entertainment has not yet announced an exact date for Yuqi’s solo debut, the agency previously shared that the (G)I-DLE member was aiming for a release toward the end of April.
