Update: iKON's Bobby And Chanwoo Announce Military Enlistment Dates

iKON’s agency 143 Entertainment announced that Bobby’s enlistment date has been rescheduled from late May to early June.

On April 15, 143 Entertainment shared the following notice:

Hello, this is 143 Entertainment.

We would like to express our gratitude to iKONIC [iKON’s fans] for always giving iKON endless support, encouragement, and love.

Member Bobby’s scheduled enlistment date has been changed from May 21 to June 4.

There will be no official event on the day of enlistment. We ask for your understanding regarding the fact that they will be enlisting privately in order to prevent safety-related accidents due to on-site confusion.

Thank you.

Following iKON’s Chanwoo’s enlistment on May 27, Bobby will enlist on June 4.

iKON’s Bobby and Chanwoo have announced their plans to enlist in the military.

On April 6, 143 Entertainment revealed that Bobby would be enlisting on May 21, followed by Chanwoo’s enlistment on May 27.

The agency’s full statement is as follows:

Hello, this is 143 Entertainment.

We would like to thank iKONIC [iKON’s fans] for always giving iKON their endless love, support, and encouragement.

[iKON] member Bobby will be entering a military training center on May 21, and Jung Chanwoo will be [enlisting] on May 27.
We ask that you send Bobby and Jung Chanwoo lots of support and encouragement until the day they return after diligently carrying out their military duty.

Additionally, we will not be holding an official event [for the fans or press] on the days that the members enlist.
We ask for your understanding regarding the fact that they will be entering privately in order to prevent safety-related accidents due to on-site confusion.
