Im Soo Hyang and Ji Hyun Woo are about to be trapped alone on an uninhabited island in “Beauty and Mr. Romantic”!

“Beauty and Mr. Romantic” is a new KBS romance drama about an actress who hits rock bottom overnight and the producing director (PD) who gets her back on her feet out of love. Im Soo Hyang stars as A-list actress Park Do Ra, who has been worked to the bone for years by her ruthless stage mom—and whose life undergoes an unexpected change when she happens to run into assistant director Go Pil Seung (Ji Hyun Woo) on the set of a drama.

Previously on “Beauty and Mr. Romantic,” Do Ra felt so betrayed after seeing Pil Seung badmouthing her that she refused to work together with him. Although Pil Seung did everything he could to appease her, his efforts proved futile—and so he ultimately wound up confessing to her that he was actually none other than her first love Go Dae Choong.

In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Do Ra and Pil Seung are shocked when they wind up being stuck alone on an uninhabited island due to an unexpected incident during filming. After they find themselves left behind, Pil Seung frantically tries to resolve the situation by talking to someone on the phone—but the two ultimately have no choice but to spend the night on the island.

Do Ra, who is visibly nervous about being stuck on the island, remains right by Pil Seung’s side at all times. In the process, the childhood sweethearts appear to return somewhat to their former dynamic from years ago: Pil Seung warmly comforts the scared Do Ra, but he still freezes adorably when she rests her head on his shoulder.

Meanwhile, after Pil Seung falls asleep, Do Ra finds herself lost in thought as she watches him from up close.

“After this incident, Do Ra and Pil Seung’s hearts will flutter again as their youthful feelings from 15 years ago are revived,” teased the drama’s production team. “To find out how their night on the deserted island will affect the two characters’ future relationship, please look forward to [tonight’s] episode.”
