Baek Jong Won, Ahn Bo Hyun, Go Kyung Pyo, And More Confirmed For "The Backpacker Chef" Season 2

tvN’s “The Backpacker Chef” will return with Season 2!

“The Backpacker Chef” is a cooking entertainment show in which cast members, who leave with only one backpack containing a limited set of kitchen tools and ingredients, have the challenging mission of cooking a personalized dish within a limited time in an unfamiliar place under the direction of Baek Jong Won, a renowned chef, entrepreneur, and TV personality.

In the first season, “The Backpacker Chef” went to 18 different locations in five months, and cooked 100 different dishes for over 3,078 people.

Lee Soo Geun, a renowned and seasoned entertainer who is joining Season 2, has already had a connection with Baek Jong Won in the past when he was handed down a special recipe from Baek Jong Won to be used exclusively in “Kang’s Kitchen” and in “Lee’s Kitchen Alone,” raising further anticipation for the chemistry between the two top entertainers this time around as well.

Heo Kyung Hwan, who already showcased his cooking skills in “4 Wheeled Restaurant,” will also be joining Season 2 as a new member and as an ice-breaking person with his entertaining, social, and comedy skills as a comedian.

Ahn Bo Hyun, who gained attention for being a perfectionist with plating, will be returning this season with upgraded cutting skills this time around, which he perfected only for this season, showing a deep affection for the show.

Go Kyung Po joining the cast draws great attention as he has yet to appear on many variety shows. Go Kyung Po has frequently expressed his love for food and the happiness that it brings to him, which will aid in his role as a passionate chef in this season.

Lastly, Baek Jong Won, who orchestrated the kitchen and the team of chefs last season, remarked that he realized that they are needed in many more places than he had originally thought, so that they will go to new places with more enthusiasm to thank all the people who support society by bringing them a warm dish.
