Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2024, May Week 2
New songs take over the top two spots this week!
IVE’s latest hit “HEYA,” one of the two title tracks from their second mini album “IVE SWITCH,” debuts at No. 1 this week. “HEYA” is a hip hop dance track with lyrics about the folk tale “The Tiger Who Loved the Sun.”
Debuting at No. 2 is SEVENTEEN’s “MAESTRO,” the title track from their Best Album “17 IS RIGHT HERE.” It is an R&B dance that conveys the message of gathering together and commanding the world.
Rounding out the top three is ILLIT’s “Magnetic,” which previously topped the chart for five weeks.
Two more songs newly entered the top 10 this week.
Moving up 26 spots to No. 5 is Zico’s “SPOT!” featuring BLACKPINK’s Jennie. “SPOT!” is a hip-hop track that captures the unadorned moments of two friends who coincidentally cross paths at a late-night party.
Crush’s “Love You With All My Heart” from the “Queen of Tears” OST moves up three spots to No. 10. This ballad delicately depicts the changing emotions of a love-hate relationship.
