Im Seulong, Jo Sung Ha, Ha Do Kwon, And More Are Intertwined With Swindlers In Upcoming Drama "The Player 2: Master of Swindlers"
Season 2 of the action-packed drama “The Player” has unveiled more stills of its characters, heightening anticipation for the upcoming premiere!
The highly-anticipated sequel to OCN’s hit 2018 series “The Player,” “The Player 2: Master of Swindlers” is a heist drama about a squad of talented swindlers who target the wealthy and corrupt by stealing dirty money that has been obtained through illegal means.
In addition to the main leads of the show, there are several charming supporting characters that can be seen in the series!
First, Jo Sung Ha will take on the role of Korean President Choi Sang Ho. As he was elected as the president after having endured difficult times as a politician from the opposition party, viewers are curious to know how the most powerful person in the country becomes entangled with the swindlers.
Ha Do Kwon will portray Kwak Do Su, a sharp-witted prosecutor known for his practical approach and ability to identify shortcuts. Despite his social profile, he finds himself intrigued by the swindlers who uphold a sense of justice even as they commit crimes.
Lee Joon Hyuk will play director Hwang In Sik, a seemingly clumsy character with an innocent look and an awkward way of talking. However, his ability to put things into action quickly creates an inexplicable aura that will captivate viewers.
Returning from Season 1, Kim Won Hae reprises his role as prosecutor Jang In Kyu. Unlike in the past, when he put aside his righteousness and teamed up with the swindlers, In Kyu now stands firm in his principles of dignity and social justice again.
Additionally, Shin Woo Young, a former special forces soldier, will be portrayed by Im Seulong. Harboring a hidden past behind his exceptional combat skills, Woo Young’s sudden involvement in the swindlers’ operations will bring extra tension to the story.
tvN’s upcoming drama “The Player 2: Master of Swindlers” will premiere on June 3 at 8:50 p.m. KST.
