On May 17, “Chief Detective 1958” successfully remained the most-watched show in its time slot ahead of its series finale. According to Nielsen Korea, the penultimate episode of the “Chief Inspector” prequel scored an average nationwide rating of 9.3 percent.
Meanwhile, “The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection,” which shares a time slot with “Chief Detective 1958,” earned a nationwide average of 3.2 percent for its own penultimate episode.
