aespa's "Armageddon" Becomes Their 1st Album To Hit No. 1 On U.S. iTunes Top Albums Chart
aespa’s latest comeback is off to a promising start!
On May 27 at 6 p.m. KST, aespa made their return with their long-awaited first full-length album “Armageddon” and its title track of the same name.
Shortly after its release, both the album and the song shot to the top of iTunes charts all over the world. By May 28, “Armageddon” had already hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 25 different regions, marking a new personal record for aespa.
“Armageddon” reached No. 1 on the iTunes Top Albums chart in the United States—where it became aespa’s first ever album to top the chart—as well as Australia, Canada, Mexico, Norway, New Zealand, Brazil, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Laos, Malaysia, Poland, Romania, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Chile.
Additionally, “Armageddon” topped QQ Music’s and KuGou Music’s digital album sales charts in China, along with AWA’s realtime rising chart in Japan.
