Volleyball Coach Song Kang Ho And Team Owner Park Jung Min Believe “One Win” Is All They Need In New Film
Upcoming film “One Win” has unveiled new stills of the cast!
“One Win” follows a women’s professional volleyball team that has never won a game. The story features a coach who has never tasted victory, an owner uninterested in winning, and players unsure of how to succeed. Despite their challenges, the team is determined to achieve just one win.
The newly released stills showcase the struggles of the troubled volleyball team, Pink Storm. Coach Kim Woo Jin (Song Kang Ho) works tirelessly to restore a broken trophy, while the attention-seeking owner, Kang Jung Won (Park Jung Min), makes shocking promises on television after purchasing the team just before it was set to disband.
Kang Jung Won’s announcement that he will distribute 2 billion won (approximately $1.5 million) if the team wins just once during the season quickly turns Pink Storm into a hot topic. However, the team’s poor performance leads to a losing streak, and Kim Woo Jin’s frantic attempts to escape the stadium from angry fans add a touch of bittersweet humor.
Meanwhile, the players of Pink Storm express doubt about Coach Kim Woo Jin’s leadership. As he desperately signals to the team during games, it becomes clear they are struggling to secure even one win amid numerous challenges.
The sight of Kim Woo Jin and Kang Jung Won, who have often clashed, cheering together piques viewers’ curiosity. Additionally, the determined expressions on the players’ faces, along with the loud cheers from Kim Woo Jin and the coaching staff before matches, raise questions about whether the struggling team Pink Storm can achieve even a single victory.
“One Win” is set to hit theaters in December.
