Na In Woo And Lee Se Young Ring In Their 20s Together With A Kiss In "Motel California"
MBC’s “Motel California” has shared a heart-fluttering preview of the upcoming drama!
Based on Shim Yun Seo’s 2019 novel “Home, Bitter Home,” “Motel California” is a romance drama about a woman named Ji Kang Hee (Lee Se Young), who was born and raised in a rural motel called Motel California. After escaping her hometown, she returns home after 12 years and winds up reconnecting with her first love and childhood friend Cheon Yeon Soo (Na In Woo).
The newly released stills capture a scene from 12 years ago, with Ji Kang Hee and Cheon Yeon Soo spending the first night of their 20s together. The photos depict Kang Hee and Yeon Soo together in a dark room. The clothes hung up on the wall as well as the cozy room decor hint they are in Kang Hee’s room in Motel California.
Yeon Soo is on Kang Hee’s bed, and Kang Hee is sitting on his lap, their gazes creating heart-fluttering tension. Kang Hee grabs on to Yeon Soo’s scarf, and she gradually leans in for a kiss. Nervous and lost as to what to do at first, Yeon Soo eventually closes his eyes and focuses on the kiss, raising anticipation for their romance.
“Motel California” will premiere on January 10 at 9:50 p.m. KST and be available on Viki. Stay tuned!
