Watch: Choi Hyun Wook And Mun Ka Young Are Each Other's Embarrassing First Love In New Teaser For 'My Dearest Nemesis'

tvN’s upcoming drama “My Dearest Nemesis” has released a new teaser!

Based on a popular webtoon, “My Dearest Nemesis” tells the love story of a man and woman who first meet via their online game characters during their school days, then meet again in real life as boss and employee 16 years later.

Mun Ka Young will star as Baek Su Jeong, a hard-working and talented team leader in the strategic planning division at Yongseong Department Store. Because of her grit and willingness to stand up for herself and fight when necessary, Baek Su Jeong isn’t afraid to duke it out with her bosses—earning her the nickname of “division director killer.”

Choi Hyun Wook will star as chaebol heir Ban Ju Yeon, the new director of the strategic planning division at Yongseong Department Store. A perfectionist who is the sole heir to his family’s conglomerate, Ban Ju Yeon must hide his hobby and alter ego “Black Dragon” in order to be recognized as a proper heir.

The new teaser begins with Ban Ju Yeon and Baek Su Jeong gazing romantically into one another’s eyes as Baek Su Jeong says in voice-over, “For example, something like first love?” However, the moment is ruined when Ban Ju Yeon responds dismissively, “What sort of outdated Cinderella story is this?” Annoyed, Baek Su Jeong can’t stop herself from swearing as she watches her boss walk away.

Amidst all their bickering, both Ban Ju Yeon and Baek Su Jeong start to notice something that there’s something familiar about each other. Ban Ju Yeon asks her, “Haven’t we met somewhere before?” Baek Su Jeong then recalls her first love “Black Dragon,” whom she refers to as the “wretched and embarrassing dark stain on my past.” Not coincidentally, Ban Ju Yeon finds his own memory of his first love just as embarrassing, describing it as “the absolute worst.”

The teaser ends with Baek Su Jeong asking Ban Ju Yeon over drinks, “As comrades who both had the worst first love ever, shall we toast to that?”
