Jung Jinyoung And His First Love Dahyun Reunite As Adults In Korean Remake Of “You Are The Apple Of My Eye”
The upcoming Korean adaptation of “You Are the Apple of My Eye” has released new stills featuring Jung Jinyoung and TWICE’s Dahyun!
Adapted from the popular Taiwanese coming-of-age romance film of the same name, “You Are the Apple of My Eye” tells the story of Jin Woo (Jung Jinyoung), an 18-year-old who spends countless days building up the courage to confess his feelings to Seon Ah (Dahyun), his first love.
The newly released stills, set against the backdrop of a school, highlight the contrast between the playful and mischievous Jin Woo and the studious, composed Seon Ah. From an unexpected scene where they are punished together to tender moments filled with affectionate gazes and heart-fluttering excitement, the images capture the bittersweet nostalgia of first love.
The stills also show Jin Woo and Seon Ah reuniting as adults, with a more mature aura compared to their school days, sparking curiosity about how their relationship has evolved over time. In one striking image, Jin Woo is seen with a face full of wounds, while Seon Ah appears troubled, adding even more intrigue about how their relationship has changed and how their story will unfold.
“You Are the Apple of My Eye” is set to premiere on February 21.
