The upcoming drama “My Dearest Nemesis” has released a highlight teaser, offering a glimpse into the complicated relationship between its two lead characters!

Based on a popular webtoon, “My Dearest Nemesis” tells the love story of a man and woman who first meet via their online game characters during their school days, then meet again in real life as boss and employee 16 years later.

Mun Ka Young will star as Baek Su Jeong, a hard-working and talented team leader in the strategic planning division at Yongseong Department Store. Because of her grit and willingness to stand up for herself and fight when necessary, Baek Su Jeong isn’t afraid to duke it out with her bosses—earning her the nickname of “division director killer.”

Choi Hyun Wook will star as chaebol heir Ban Ju Yeon, the new director of the strategic planning division at Yongseong Department Store. A perfectionist who is the sole heir to his family’s conglomerate, Ban Ju Yeon must hide his hobby and alter ego “Black Dragon” in order to be recognized as a proper heir.

The highlight teaser opens with Baek Su Jeong saying, “I’ll lean on you. You lean on me. Are we finally meeting?” as she eagerly anticipates seeing her first love, “Black Dragon,” whom she met in an online game. However, her excitement quickly turns to frustration as she exclaims in another scene, “My first love, the Black Dragon… my awful, cringeworthy past.” The scene then shows her crying on her bed, hinting at how their once-dreamy first love turned into a nightmare.

Later, Baek Su Jeong and Ban Ju Yeon meet again at work—but neither recognizes the other as their first love. In the game, Baek Su Jeong was a healer, but in real life, she has become a tough and capable department store team leader. Meanwhile, Ban Ju Yeon conceals his true self, leading a double life as both a chaebol heir and the “Black Dragon.”

The teaser takes a comedic turn when Baek Su Jeong becomes the only person to witness Ban Ju Yeon’s secret life. In one scene, he nervously mutters, “You’re a dangerous woman. If this continues, my social persona will be ruined.” The teaser also shows Ban Ju Yeon drunkenly searching for chocolate milk and arguing with a child over an action figure, while Baek Su Jeong watches with amusement. Determined to get rid of her, he firmly declares, “Baek Su Jeong must be eliminated at all costs.”

Despite not realizing they were each other’s most regrettable first loves, Baek Su Jeong and Ban Ju Yeon slowly start to fall for each other again. In one scene, Ban Ju Yeon reflects, “I thought that person would accept me as I am, but it turned out to be the worst,” while Baek Su Jeong insists, “First love? I never want to see him again. I can’t stand him.” How will they react when they finally discover the truth?
