The upcoming drama “Mother and Mom” has unveiled a new poster and teaser!

“Mother and Mom” follows working mom Lee Jung Eun (Jeon Hye Jin), who asks her mother, Yoon Ji Ah (Jo Min Soo), to give her daughter Seo Yoon (Kim Sa Rang) rides to academies as the girl prepares for the “7-year-old exam” (an entrance test for top English-language academies). Set in the cutthroat education hub of Daechi District, the drama takes a humorous yet thought-provoking look at the intense world of early childhood education and the pressures of private tutoring.

The newly released poster humorously captures the relationship between Jung Eun, Ji Ah, and Seo Yoon—the three generations of women caught up in the competitive world of early childhood education. At an English academy, Seo Yoon confidently gives a presentation despite the pressure surrounding her. Jung Eun watches nervously, hoping her daughter performs well, while Ji Ah looks exasperated at Jung Eun’s behavior.

The accompanying teaser showcases Jung Eun’s relentless efforts to prepare her daughter for the 7-year-old exam. In one scene, she even uses a stopwatch to make Seo Yoon memorize an English speech and study rigorously. After hearing a superstition that bringing a red item to a prestigious elementary school’s admission lottery increases the chances of acceptance, she shows up completely dressed in red, displaying her unwavering determination.

Ji Ah, who takes on the responsibility of driving Seo Yoon to her academy, is shocked and bewildered by the extreme academic culture of Daechi. She questions Jung Eun’s extreme methods, leading to conflicts between mother and daughter.

The teaser also features Young Wook (Jung Jin Young), who falls for Ji Ah at first sight while giving rides, as well as Jung Eun’s husband Jae Man (Jeon Suk Ho).
