Na In Woo Tearfully Embraces Lee Se Young In 'Motel California'

Will love overcome all obstacles on MBC’s “Motel California”?

Based on Shim Yoon Seo’s 2019 novel “Home, Bitter Home,” “Motel California” is a romance drama about a woman named Ji Kang Hee (Lee Se Young), who was born and raised in a rural motel called Motel California. After escaping her hometown, she returns home after 12 years and winds up reconnecting with her first love and childhood friend Cheon Yeon Soo (Na In Woo).

On the previous episode of “Motel California,” Kang Hee suddenly remembered the events of the day her mother and Yeon Soo’s father died. After realizing that she was responsible for the accident that killed them, Kang Hee became overwhelmed with guilt and broke up with Yeon Soo—just after they had finally gotten back together.

However, in newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Yeon Soo is visibly unwilling to let Kang Hee walk away from their relationship without a fight. As his eyes well up with tears, Yeon Soo pulls Kang Hee close for an emotional hug, as if refusing to let her give up on their love.

The “Motel California” production team remarked, “In Episode 11, which airs today, Kang Hee and Yeon Soo’s 23-year story of first love will reach its climax. In particular, Yeon Soo will go all out in trying to hold onto Kang Hee. Please stay tuned to find out if Yeon Soo will be able to successfully ‘remodel’ his first love with Kang Hee despite the weighty stumbling block of his father’s death.”

The next episode of “Motel California” will air on February 14 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
