Watch: Lee Je Hoon, Kim Dae Myeung, Sung Dong Il, And More Express Excitement For First Day Of Filming “The Art Of Negotiation”

JTBC’s upcoming drama “The Art of Negotiation” has released a behind-the-scenes interview from the first filming!

“The Art of Negotiation” follows the story of Yoon Joo No (Lee Je Hoon), an M&A expert who is known as a legendary negotiator, as he leads his team through high-stakes corporate challenges. The drama is helmed by director Ahn Pan Seok, who is known for his meticulous attention to detail and realism.

In the making-of video, the cast shares their thoughts on their first day on set.

Lee Je Hoon expresses his excitement, saying, “Filming with my co-stars, I can already feel a strong bond between us. I think this comes from the directors and staff, who have worked on many projects together and built great chemistry. Because of that, the set feels warm, comfortable, and full of camaraderie.”

Kim Dae Myeung adds, “Just like the sweat gathering on my face, all the staff members are working hard, giving their all.” He continues, “While the title ‘The Art of Negotiation’ might make you think of intense corporate conflicts, at its core, this is a human story. If you wait just a little longer, we’ll bring you a drama as engaging as the effort we’re putting into it.”

Sung Dong Il further shares his enthusiasm, saying, “This is my first project with Director Ahn Pan Seok, and I really like his approach to directing.” He continued, “Many close colleagues are part of this [project], and it’s my first time working with Je Hoon, so I’m looking forward to it. Every filming session has been a great experience.”

Jang Hyun Sung also speaks highly of the director, stating, “Personally, I have great respect for Director Ahn Pan Seok—he always brings such positive energy. His projects bring together actors in incredible combinations, which makes me even more excited.”

Oh Man Seok remarks, “I’m always excited to be on set, but working with Director Ahn Pan Seok makes it even more special. It feels great.”

Ahn Hyun Ho reflects on the supportive environment, saying, “The director, staff, and senior actors take such good care of us, creating a great atmosphere on set. I hope the weather stays on our side so we can keep filming without any difficulties.”

Cha Kang Yoon promises his best effort, stating, “I will continue working hard to bring you an even better character and a better version of myself. I’ll make sure to give my best performance.”
