Kang Tae Oh Gets Lee Sun Bin's Heart Racing In "The Potato Lab"

Kang Tae Oh is about to send Lee Sun Bin on a rollercoaster ride of emotion on the next episode of “The Potato Lab”!

tvN’s “The Potato Lab” is a new romantic comedy that centers on a rural potato research institute. Lee Sun Bin stars as Kim Mi Kyung, a researcher whose life revolves entirely around potatoes, while Kang Tae Oh plays So Baek Ho, a cold pragmatist who joins the institute as its new director.

On the first episode of “The Potato Lab,” So Baek Ho turned the peaceful potato research institute upside down when he suddenly arrived for an unscheduled inspection. So Baek Ho and Kim Mi Kyung’s eventful first meeting also left viewers curious to find out where their unpredictable story was headed next.

In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming second episode, Mi Kyung experiences three major shifts in her feelings towards Baek Ho. First, Mi Kyung is seen wearing a confident smile, while the usually composed Baek Ho appears a bit shaken by what she has to say.

However, in the next set of photos, the tables have turned: Baek Ho fixes Mi Kyung with an icy stare, while she gazes nervously back at him.

Finally, Mi Kyung gets visibly flustered at the sight of a soaking wet Baek Ho buttoning up his drenched shirt. After Baek Ho unexpectedly makes her heart skip a beat, Mi Kyung will find her feelings towards him changing in unforeseen ways.

The drama’s production team teased, “In Episode 2, which airs today, Kim Mi Kyung will undergo a heart-fluttering change. Please look forward to the start of the fiery romance between Kim Mi Kyung and So Baek Ho, who will become more and more entwined without realizing it themselves.”

The second episode of “The Potato Lab” will air on March 2 at 9:20 p.m. KST.
