ENA’s new drama “Mother and Mom” has shared new stills ahead of tonight’s episode!

Set in the cutthroat education hub that is Seoul’s Daechi neighborhood, “Mother and Mom” is a drama that takes a humorous yet thought-provoking look at the intense world of early childhood education and the pressures of private tutoring. Jeon Hye Jin stars as Lee Jung Eun, a working mom who asks her mother Yoon Ji Ah (Jo Min Soo) to give her young daughter rides to academies as she prepares for the “7-year-old exam” (an entrance test for top English-language academies).

In the first episode, Jung Eun struggled to juggle work and parenting after her nanny abruptly quit, leaving her daily life in chaos. With no other options, she turned to her mother Ji Ah, asking her to drive her daughter Seo Yoon (Kim Sa Rang) to academies—at least until she could find a replacement.

However, in the upcoming episode, Jung Eun finds herself in a seemingly impossible battle to find a suitable sitter. Frustrated and desperate, she seeks guidance from a renowned fortune teller, a go-to figure among Daechi moms. With mounting anxiety, Jung Eun asks whether Seo Yoon will get into a prestigious elementary school and if she will ever find a trustworthy nanny. The fortune teller’s cryptic response—“An invaluable person will come to you”—leaves her with more questions than answers, sparking intrigue about this mysterious figure. Adding to the intrigue, actor Kim Tae Hoon makes a special appearance as the eccentric shaman, delivering a scene-stealing performance.

Meanwhile, Ji Ah made quite an impression in the Daechi mom community when she smacked the back of Seo Yoon’s irresponsible former nanny’s head at an English academy—leaving the other moms stunned. As she navigates this new world of elite parents, Ji Ah finds herself facing judgmental stares and subtle exclusion, offering a fresh outsider’s perspective on their high-stakes social circles.

The upcoming episode further teases an intriguing twist as Ji Ah appears to recognize Ho Kyung (Park Bo Kyung), better known as “Tommy’s mom” and the reigning “super mom” of Daechi.
