tvN’s “Resident Playbook” has unveiled a glimpse of Go Youn Jung in her starring role!
A spin-off of the hit series “Hospital Playlist,” “Resident Playbook” will depict the realistic and relatable hospital lives, growth, and heartwarming friendships of residents at the Jongro branch of Yulje Medical Center.
Go Youn Jung will star as Oh Yi Young, a passionate first-year OBGYN (Obstetrics and Gynecology) resident at Yulje Medical Center. Due to her unchanging cold expression and constant brutal honesty, there are many rumors swirling about Oh Yi Young at the hospital.
Every day, Oh Yi Young arrives at the hospital at 5:30 a.m. with the same hope—that she will be able to successfully make it through the day without any problems. However, without fail, her hopes are dashed every single day due to the chaos she must endure at the hospital.
Newly released stills from the upcoming drama offer a sneak peek of Oh Yi Young’s eventful life as a resident. Although Oh Yi Young appears dispirited and worn down as she struggles to keep up with the events unfolding around her, when it’s time to interact with a patient, she displays intense focus and determination as she tightly grasps their hand.
“Resident Playbook” will premiere on April 12 at 9:10 p.m. KST.
