Go Youn Jung Talks About Her Teamwork With 'Resident Playbook' Co-Stars, Her Views On Acting, And More

Go Youn Jung recently joined Elle Korea magazine for a pictorial and interview!

During her interview, Go Youn Jung discussed her recent activities. “After finishing filming ‘Resident Playbook’ and ‘Can This Love Be Translated?’, I’m finally getting my first real break since my debut,” she said. “At first, I thought it would be great, but it wasn’t. I quickly got bored, so whenever there’s a post-production voice recording session, even if I don’t have lines, I still show up to work.”

She also shared, “The time leading up to the release of a project I’ve worked on is the most rewarding and exciting. I really hope many people will enjoy them.”

In “Resident Playbook,” Go Youn Jung plays Oh Yi Young, a first-year obstetrics and gynecology resident. She spoke about the strong teamwork on set, saying, “By answering the questions the younger cast members asked me, I learned a lot as well. As time went by, I became more and more comfortable.”

Go Youn Jung also showed how serious is she about acting, remarking, “The more I act, the more I crave experiences I haven’t tried before. When I notice my shortcomings, I think about ways to improve. I always approach it with the mindset of trying to be better than I was the day before.”

Go Youn Jung’s full pictorial and interview can be found in the May issue of Elle Korea.
