Watch: Park Bo Gum Has Complicated Ties With Kim So Hyun, Lee Sang Yi, And More In "Good Boy" Teaser
JTBC’s “Good Boy” has unveiled a new teaser!
“Good Boy” is a comic action drama that follows a group of former national athletes Yoon Dong Joo (Park Bo Gum), Ji Han Na (Kim So Hyun), Kim Jong Hyun (Lee Sang Yi), Go Man Sik (Heo Sung Tae), and Shin Jae Hong (Tae Won Suk)—who become police officers through a special recruitment program. Swapping medals for badges, they take on a world full of corruption, deception, and injustice.
The newly released teaser highlights Yoon Dong Joo’s unique relationships with Ji Han Na, Kim Jong Hyun, Go Man Sik, and Shin Jae Hong.
The teaser begins with Go Man Sik, the head of the Special Crimes Unit, who grumbles and calls Yoon Dong Joo a “stray dog.” After Yoon Dong Joo is demoted to patrol officer following repeated mishaps, Go Man Sik reluctantly takes him under his team, scolding him despite flinching at the sight of Yoon Dong Joo’s swift fists.
Shin Jae Hong, a bronze medalist in discus throw, is an older brother-like figure that Dong Joo can rely on, while fencing silver medalist Kim Jong Hyun is Dong Joo’s rival. When Yoon Dong Joo asks, “Since when did you hate me that much?” Kim Jong Hyun responds, “I hated your smile.” Ji Han Na is an Olympic shooting gold medalist who is Dong Joo’s first and last love who boldly asks, “You still like me?”
Finally, the teaser focuses on Yoon Dong Joo as he stands up against injustice. He declares, “Run if you can. Anyone who steps into my ring always goes down.”
