Get ready for a full-fledged performance video starring fictional idol group HI-BOYZ from “Resident Playbook”!

A spin-off of the hit series “Hospital Playlist,” tvN’s “Resident Playbook” is a new drama depicting the realistic and relatable hospital lives, growth, and heartwarming friendships of residents at the Jongro branch of Yulje Medical Center.

On the May 10 episode of the drama, TXT’s Yeonjun and Soobin made a special cameo as former bandmates of Um Jae Il (Kang You Seok), a first-year resident who used to be a member of the now-disbanded group HI-BOYZ. During the episode, Um Jae Il performed his group’s song “When the Day Comes” at karaoke, and the background video featured glimpses of Yeonjun and Soobin dancing alongside Um Jae Il as members of HI-BOYZ.

Notably, even though only Yeonjun and Soobin appeared in the video, all five members of TXT sang “When the Day Comes,” so their voices can be heard in the song—which will be officially released as part of the “Resident Playbook” OST (original soundtrack) on May 11 at 6 p.m. KST.

Meanwhile, HI-BOYZ’s full performance video for the song will be released on May 12 at 12 p.m. KST.
