“YADANG: The Snitch” Becomes 2nd Korean Film Of 2025 To Surpass 3 Million Moviegoers
“YADANG: The Snitch” has officially crossed the 3 million moviegoer mark!
According to the Korean Film Council, as of 4:12 p.m. KST on May 12, “YADANG: The Snitch” recorded a cumulative total of 3,000,059 admissions—an impressive feat achieved just 27 days after its release.
This makes “YADANG: The Snitch” the second Korean film of 2025 to surpass 3 million viewers, following Bong Joon Ho’s “Mickey 17.” Notably, “YADANG: The Snitch” reached the milestone much faster than “Mickey 17,” which hit the same figure on its 39th day in theaters.
“YADANG: The Snitch” is a crime-action film about an informant who supplies inside information on South Korea’s drug trade (played by Kang Ha Neul), a prosecutor eager to rise through the ranks (Yoo Hae Jin), and a detective willing to risk everything to bring down drug-related crime (Park Hae Joon).
