So Ji Sub Mercilessly Fights For Answers In Noir Action Drama “Mercy For None”
Netflix’s upcoming drama “Mercy For None” has unveiled striking new stills of So Ji Sub!
Based on a popular webtoon, “Mercy For None” is a noir action drama that follows the story of Gi Jun (So Ji Sub), a former gangster who cut his own Achilles heel and left the underworld behind. 11 years after severing ties with his gang, he returns to uncover the truth behind the mysterious death of his younger brother Gi Seok (Lee Jun Hyuk).
Ahead of its release, “Mercy For None” unveiled eight new stills of So Ji Sub as Gi Jun, teasing the character’s haunting duality. In one image, he sits alone at a campsite, hat pulled low over his face—a man seemingly at peace. In stark contrast, other stills show him in brutal combat, bloodied yet unyielding, and gripping a baseball bat—his signature weapon.
Whether mercilessly choking an opponent or walking away from a pile of fallen enemies, Gi Jun’s steely resolve and the film’s raw tension are on full display. The stills leave viewers wondering: Who is the target of his wrath, and what trials await him along the way?
“Mercy For None” will premiere on June 6.
