Jung Hae In And Ha Young Confirmed For New Rom-Com Drama "Lovestuck"
It’s official—Jung Hae In and Ha Young will be starring in the upcoming Netflix rom-com “Lovestuck”!
“Lovestuck” follows the story of Go Eun Sae (Ha Young), a prosecutor who wakes up one day with amnesia. She meets Jang Tae Ha (Jung Hae In), a boxing coach who insists he’s her boyfriend. Their unexpected living arrangement in a countryside village filled with yeot (traditional Korean taffy) shops kicks off a quirky, sweet, and irresistibly sticky love story.
The drama will be helmed by director Kim Jang Han of “Do You Like Brahms?” and “My Demon” and written by Mo Ji Hye of “You Raise Me Up.”
Jung Hae In, who impressed in numerous rom-coms and romance projects including “Something in the Rain,” “Love Next Door,” and more, will be playing the role of the brusque but passionate Jang Tae Ha, a former youth boxing champion who turned into a gangster. However, he turns over a new leaf and leaves the gang to become a boxing coach in a small town. While on his final mission for the gang, he meets his first love Go Eun Sae, who has lost her memories, and begins a lie that puts his life on the line.
“The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call” star Ha Young will star as Go Eun Sae, an ambitious prosecutor of the Anti-Corruption Investigation Department at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office. She is a capable prosecutor, known for being quick, clean, and clever. While tracking a crime syndicate, she becomes swept up in an accident that wipes her memory. She wakes up in a rural clinic surrounded by Korean traditional taffy shops—where she meets Jang Tae Ha, who claims to be her boyfriend.
As Eun Sae stumbles through her “sticky” reality, she finds herself falling for Tae Ha’s warmth, raising anticipation for their upcoming romance.
