BOYNEXTDOOR Tops iTunes Charts + Lands 6 Songs In Top 12 Of Melon 100 With 'No Genre'

BOYNEXTDOOR is soaring to new heights on the music charts with their latest comeback!

On May 13 at 6 p.m. KST, BOYNEXTDOOR made their highly-anticipated return with their new mini album “No Genre” and its catchy title track “I Feel Good.”

Six hours later—at midnight KST on May 14—“I Feel Good” hit No. 1 on Bugs’ realtime chart, in addition to reaching No. 5 on Melon’s Top 100.

Notably, BOYNEXTDOOR managed to chart five songs from “No Genre” in the top 10 of Melon’s Top 100 (and all six songs from the EP in the top 12). Their pre-release single “IF I SAY, I LOVE YOU” ranked No. 4, followed by “I Feel Good” at No. 5, “123-78” at No. 6, “Step By Step” at No. 9, “Is That True?” at No. 10, and “Next Mistake” at No. 12.

Outside of Korea, by 6 a.m. KST on May 14, “No Genre” had already hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least seven different regions, including Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Vietnam. Meanwhile, “I Feel Good” reached No. 3 on Line Music’s realtime Top Songs chart in Japan.

Additionally, according to Hanteo Chart, BOYNEXTDOOR broke their first-day sales record with “No Genre,” which sold an impressive total of 708,558 copies on the first day of its release. Not only did “No Genre” break the group’s personal first-day sales record, but it also managed to come close to BOYNEXTDOOR’s previous first-week sales record of 759,156 (set by their last mini album “19.99”) within just one day.
