Jang Dong Yoon In Talks To Star In New Romance Drama Reportedly By "Lovely Runner" Director
Jang Dong Yoon may star in a new romance drama!
On May 15, a media outlet reported that Jang Dong Yoon will be the lead in the new drama “Night in Heaven” (literal title).
In response to the report, Jang Dong Yoon’s agency BH Entertainment shared, “‘Night in Heaven’ is one of the projects that Jang Dong Yoon received an offer for.”
Based on a 2022 novel by author Hwang Eui Geon, “Night in Heaven” is a romance drama that depicts the process of two people, abandoned by the world, finding salvation through each other’s existence. Set against the backdrop of a chaebol family and the nightlife scene, the story follows a chaebol heiress, who lives a cursed life as an illegitimate child, and the ace of a secret club in Cheongdam as they learn the meaning of true love together.
Jang Dong Yoon is reportedly offered to play the role of Cheon Guk, a former taekwondo athlete and the current ace of the secret club Si Bel Homme (French for “handsome man”). While the details about the broadcast are yet to be decided, director Yoon Jong Ho of “Lovely Runner” will reportedly helm the drama, further raising viewers’ anticipation.
