Han Ji Min, Park Sung Hoon, And More Confirmed For New Romance Drama
JTBC’s upcoming dram “Efficient Dating for Singles” (literal title) has confirmed its cast lineup!
Based on a webtoon, “Efficient Dating for Singles” is a romance drama that explores the pursuit of efficiency in modern dating—where love alone isn’t enough, yet relationships based solely on conditions feel unfulfilling.
Led by Han Ji Min, the cast brings together Park Sung Hoon and Lee Ki Taek along with the lively and energetic Jung Hye Sung and Kim So Hye. Together, they present a customized dating guidebook for those who seek the easiest and fastest path to love.
Han Ji Min takes on the role of Lee Ui Young, an assistant manager in the purchasing team at The Hills Hotel. Lee Ui Young is highly competent and trusted by her colleagues, enjoying great success at work, but she remains stuck in a rut when it comes to romance. Having never experienced a proper relationship even after turning 30, Ui Young boldly dives into the world of blind dates.
Park Sung Hoon plays Ui Young’s blind date partner Song Tae Seob. As the owner of a woodworking studio, Song Tae Seob is gentle on the outside and strong-willed on the inside, dreaming of meeting someone he loves and building a family together.
Lee Ki Taek transforms into Shin Ji Soo, who is the complete opposite of Song Tae Seob. Shin Ji Soo unexpectedly goes on a blind date and is struck by fate when he meets Lee Ui Young. He prefers freedom over being tied down, but meeting his destined partner gradually begins to change him.
Meanwhile, Jung Hye Sung plays Jung Hyun Min, a member of the purchasing team at The Hills Hotel, showcasing a delightful “womance” with Han Ji Min’s character. Jung Hyun Min, with her open-minded and flexible attitude, prefers shallow and light encounters over deep, committed relationships.
Lastly, Kim So Hye transforms into Shim Sae Byeok, the beloved youngest member of the purchasing team. As a newcomer to society, Shim Sae Byeok finds the world unfamiliar and intimidating, and she looks up to her senior Lee Ui Young as a role model, dreaming of becoming a successful career woman. However, as unpredictable incidents occur daily, she faces a tough journey adapting to the workplace.
“Efficient Dating for Singles” is set to premiere in 2026. Stay tuned for more updates!
