Lee Jun Young And Jeong Eun Ji Grow Closer Through Mindful Coaching In “Pump Up The Healthy Love”

Pump Up the Healthy Love” has unveiled new stills ahead of tonight’s episode!

“Pump Up the Healthy Love” is a romantic comedy starring Lee Jun Young as passionate gym owner Do Hyeon Joong, a former bodybuilding champion who drastically changes the lives of his gym members. Apink’s Jeong Eun Ji plays Lee Mi Ran, an assistant manager at a travel agency who joins his gym to get over a recent breakup.

Spoilers

In the previous episode, Hyeon Joong found himself exhausted from taking care of both a new gym member Hye Bin (Han So Hyeon) and her child. Meanwhile, Mi Ran took on a new challenge by appearing on a live shopping broadcast and embarking on a diet she called her “flour-free journey.” Though both were on edge due to personal struggles, they each came to an important realization: before anything else, they needed to take care of themselves first.

In tonight’s episode, Hyeon Joong is assigned to personally train Im Sung Im (Park Sung Yeon), a 10-year veteran member and the leader of the gym’s notorious “Witch Trio.” In the newly released stills, Sung Im fixes Hyeon Joong with an intense stare while he, unusually flustered, seems to struggle under her gaze. As the gym’s most influential member, her demanding presence is enough to rattle even the unshakable Hyeon Joong. Viewers are left curious—how did he end up as her personal trainer, and how will he navigate her intense demands?

Meanwhile, Mi Ran—who was previously thrown into turmoil by a message from her ex Yeom Jun Seok (Jung Wook Jin)—shows up at the gym with her younger sister Lee Ji Ran (Lee Da Eun), hinting at a shift in her mindset. Though she greets Hyeon Joong with a warm smile, her eyes betray a quiet sorrow.

As curiosity grows over why Mi Ran brought her sister to the gym, her relationship with Hyeon Joong also begins to shift. While coaching her on diet management, Hyeon Joong offers warm encouragement, and Mi Ran finds herself moved by his unexpected sweetness. With workouts and meal plans bringing them closer together, viewers are left wondering—has Mi Ran truly left her heartbreak behind—or is another emotional storm looming?

The next episode of “Pump Up the Healthy Love” will air on May 15 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
