SBS’s “The Haunted Palace” has teased a budding love triangle among Yook Sungjae, Kim Ji Yeon, and Shin Seul Ki!

“The Haunted Palace” is a fantasy historical rom-com that delves into the tale of the Eight Feet Tall spirit that bears a grudge against the king, a female shaman who opposes it, and an evil spirit known as Imugi. BTOB’s Yook Sungjae stars as Yoon Gap, a royal archivist and Yeo Ri’s first love who becomes possessed by an Imugi named Gang Cheol. WJSN’s Kim Ji Yeon stars as Yeo Ri, the granddaughter of a powerful shaman who rejects her spiritual powers and destined path.

In the previous episode, Kang Cheol confessed his feelings to Yeo Ri, and Yeo Ri, in turn, revealed her own wavering emotions, signaling the beginning of a mutual romance. The misunderstanding between the two was resolved when it was revealed that Yeo Ri’s grandmother Neop Deok was not killed by Kang Cheol but by the Eight Feet Tall Spirit.

With viewers now eagerly anticipating whether Yeo Ri and Kang Cheol’s relationship will officially progress, newly released stills from the upcoming episode capture a budding love triangle that stirs up jealousy between the two.

In the photos below, In Seon (Shin Seul Ki) is seen sitting in front of Kang Cheol, offering him snacks in a friendly atmosphere, while Yeo Ri watches them with a wary gaze. In particular, when In Seon tries to feed Kang Cheol a snack directly with her hand, Yeo Ri cannot hide her anger and shoots a furious look at them.

Attention is now focused on whether Yeo Ri, who has tried to ignore her feelings for Kang Cheol until now, will come to terms with her emotions because of In Seon, and whether this jealousy will become a turning point that deepens their romance.
