Upcoming film “Big Deal” has unveiled a new poster and teaser video ahead of its premiere!
“Big Deal” follows the story of Pyo Jong Rok (Yoo Hae Jin), a chief financial officer who treats his soju company like family, and Choi In Bum (Lee Je Hoon), a profit-driven employee at a global investment firm. During the 1997 IMF financial crisis, the two clash over the future of Korea’s beloved national liquor.
The newly released poster features Pyo Jong Rok and Choi In Bum standing in front of Seok Jin Woo (Son Hyun Joo), the chairman of Gukbo Group, and Koo Young Mo (Choi Young Joon), the head attorney of a law firm. The four are lined up amid a row of soju bottles, playfully hinting at the role the iconic drink will play in the film’s dramatic and humorous storyline.
The accompanying teaser video shows Jong Rok and In Bum drinking soju in a clever commercial-style format. Jong Rok savors the spirit’s smooth, clean flavor, while In Bum’s shifting expressions reflect his evolving attitude toward the drink. The short yet impactful teaser piques viewers’ curiosity about the relationship developing between the two characters—and the pivotal role soju will play in their journey.
