“Second Shot at Love” is a rom-com that follows Han Geum Ju (Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung), a self-proclaimed “reasonable drinker” who unexpectedly reunites with her first love Seo Ui Jun (Gong Myoung)—a man who despises alcohol—and decides to take on the challenge of quitting drinking.

Until now, Geum Ju has never questioned her relationship with alcohol. To her, it’s a tool for both socializing and coping—a way to liven up celebrations and soothe her emotions during difficult times. Proudly calling herself a “sensible drinker,” she’s always believed she could quit anytime she wanted.
However, since her mother Kim Gwang Ok (Kim Sung Ryung) issued a strict ban on alcohol, a string of incidents has suggested otherwise. With each small crisis, Geum Ju consistently turned to alcohol—revealing just how heavily she actually relied on it.
In newly released stills, psychiatrist and longtime friend Seo Ui Jun presents Geum Ju with a self-assessment test for alcohol dependency. His calm yet firm gaze signals that it’s time for some honest reflection.
