Park Bo Young Breaks Down The Subtle Differences Between Her Twin Roles In “Our Unwritten Seoul”

Park Bo Young and scriptwriter Lee Kang have shared how to tell the twins apart in “Our Unwritten Seoul”!

“Our Unwritten Seoul” is a romantic drama about identical twin sisters Yoo Mi Ji and Yoo Mi Rae (both played by Park Bo Young), who lead completely different lives. After switching identities through a web of lies, they embark on a journey to discover real love and the true meaning of life.

Mi Ji and Mi Rae are identical not just in looks, but also in their long-standing habit of secretly taking each other’s place since childhood. As adults, however, Mi Rae reaches a breaking point—and Mi Ji decides to take on her sister’s life once again, reigniting their secret pact.

As the twins continue their secret switch, the drama teases the added intrigue of figuring out who’s who. To help viewers tell them apart, Park Bo Young and scriptwriter Lee Kang have shared key differences between the two.

Park Bo Young explained, “Mi Ji is very expressive and reacts openly, while Mi Rae is more reserved and tends to keep her emotions hidden,” highlighting the stark contrast in their personalities.

Scriptwriter Lee Kang added, “Mi Ji is an ENFP—a free-spirited, sociable type who views life positively—whereas Mi Rae is an INTJ, a strategic thinker who plans everything and has a vivid imagination.”

The newly released photos also hint at the subtle distinctions between the twins. One image shows Mi Ji in the rural village of Duson, while another captures Mi Rae seated in an office. But are they really who they appear to be?

“Our Unwritten Seoul” will premiere on May 24 at 9:20 p.m. KST.
