Kwon Han Sol, Seo Bum June, And Chi Hae Won Are Heroine, Second Male Lead, And Villain Of A Novel In “The First Night With The Duke”
KBS2’s upcoming drama “The First Night With the Duke” has unveiled character posters for Kwon Han Sol, Seo Bum June, and Chi Hae Won!
“The First Night with the Duke” is a fantasy romance drama about an ordinary college student whose soul is transported into a minor character in a romance novel, Cha Sun Chaek (Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun). After waking up in the world of the novel, she ends up spending the night with the obsessive male lead, Yi Beon (2PM’s Taecyeon).
Kwon Han Sol plays Jo Eun Ae, the novel’s original heroine. Dressed in a soft sky-blue skirt and beige jeogori (traditional Korean garment), her poster radiates the quiet elegance of a classic romance lead. Her simple hair accessory and composed hand posture reflect her sincerity and thoughtfulness, while the calm poise in her expression hints at an inner strength that quietly asserts her place in the story.
Seo Bum June plays Jung Soo Gyeom, the charming second male lead. His warm smile and relaxed expression suggest a gentle and approachable nature, perfectly fitting his role as the sweet character who naturally draws people in. The light, cheerful tones of his poster amplify the warmth he brings to the narrative.
Meanwhile, Chi Hae Won transforms into villainess Do Hwa Seon, stealing the spotlight with her vibrant hanbok. The bold floral embroidery and her piercing gaze give off both elegance and intensity. Her presence hints at the storm she’ll bring to the plot—making her dramatic entrance all the more intriguing.
“The First Night With the Duke” is set to premiere on June 11 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
