Park Yong Woo Is A Serial Killer Trying To Awaken Daughter Park Ju Hyun's Murderous Instincts In "Hunter With A Scalpel"

Upcoming drama “Hunter with a Scalpel” has unveiled its first stills of Park Yong Woo in character!

“Hunter with a Scalpel” is a psychological crime thriller starring Park Ju Hyun as Seo Se Hyun, a brilliant but troubled forensic pathologist. One day, while conducting an autopsy, Se Hyun recognizes the signature murder method of her father—a serial killer who she thought had died 20 years ago—and sets out to find him before the police.

Park Yong Woo will be playing the role of Seo Se Hyun’s father Yoon Jo Kyun, a psychopathic serial killer known as “the Tailor.” On the surface, Yoon Jo Kyun appears to be the kindhearted owner of a laundry and dry cleaning service, but he is hiding his sinister nature behind his deceptively warm eyes.

Yoon Jo Kyun, who is chillingly passionate about dissecting human bodies, hatches a disturbing plan to awaken his daughter’s murderous instincts so that he can draw her into his clutches.

Newly released stills from the upcoming drama highlight the contrast between Park Yong Woo’s seemingly harmless exterior and the mad killer within. When he is working at his shop during the day, he wears a friendly, relaxed smile and neat clothing without any frills. However, while drinking tea alone in a darkened corner of his shop, there is an unsettling look in his eye that hints at his true nature.

Praising Park Yong Woo’s performance, the “Hunter with a Scalpel” production team remarked, “The acting of Park Yong Woo, who portrays a madness hidden inside ordinary, everyday life, amplifies the suspense of the drama in and of itself.
