Kim Ji Yeon’s Life At Risk As Cho Han Gyul Mysteriously Leads Her To A Shrine In “The Haunted Palace”

Kim Ji Yeon’s character will be facing a life-or-death situation in tonight’s episode of “The Haunted Palace”!

“The Haunted Palace” is a fantasy historical rom-com that delves into the tale of the Eight Feet Tall spirit that bears a grudge against the king, a female shaman who opposes it, and an evil spirit known as Imugi. BTOB’s Yook Sungjae stars as Yoon Gap, a royal archivist and Yeo Ri’s first love who becomes possessed by an Imugi named Gangcheori. WJSN’s Kim Ji Yeon stars as Yeo Ri, the granddaughter of a powerful shaman who rejects her spiritual powers and destined path.

In the newly released stills, Yeo Ri follows Imugi’s younger sibling Bibi (Cho Han Gyul) into the Eight Feet Tall’s eerie shrine, a place cloaked in thick darkness. With Gangcheori nowhere in sight, the question looms: why have Yeo Ri and Bibi ventured into this dangerous space alone?

Moreover, Bibi’s stiff demeanor and tense gaze toward Yeo Ri mark a stark contrast from his usual mischievous nature, signaling that something is amiss.

The unsettling mood deepens as Pung San (Kim Sang Ho) emerges from the shadows, greeting the pair with a chilling smile. One still captures a frightened Yeo Ri standing frozen in the center of the shrine, while Bibi looms over her with cold, unreadable eyes—raising questions about his true intentions. Once a steadfast ally, has Bibi betrayed her? Or is there something more at play?
