Jun Ji Hyun Joins Forces With Kang Dong Won To Expose Global Conspiracy In New Drama “Tempest”
Jun Ji Hyun and Kang Dong Won’s upcoming drama “Tempest“ has unveiled new stills!
On May 23, Walt Disney Company Korea hosted an “Open House” event at its Gangnam headquarters in Seoul, where it unveiled its upcoming original K-drama lineup for the second half of the year.
Among the highlights was “Tempest,” which stars Jun Ji Hyun, Kang Dong Won, and Hollywood actor and “Star Trek” star John Cho.
“Tempest” follows Moon Ju (Jun Ji Hyun), a diplomat and former UN ambassador who has built an international reputation, as she teams up with San Ho (Kang Dong Won), a special agent of unknown nationality, to uncover the hidden truth behind a massive incident that threatens the future of the Korean Peninsula.
Disney Korea’s Chief Producer Choi Yeon Woo described the series as “a tent-pole project that we ambitiously prepared,” adding, “In terms of scale, storytelling, and everything, it’s a highly anticipated drama that will represent the latter half of the year.”
“Tempest” is set to premiere on Disney+ in the second half of 2025. Watch a short teaser for the drama here!
