Kim Hye Ja Says Goodbye To Ryu Deok Hwan As Han Ji Min's Identity Comes To Light In "Heavenly Ever After"

All of the mysterious relationships linking the characters of “Heavenly Ever After” will finally be revealed!

JTBC’s “Heavenly Ever After” is a transcendent romance drama starring Kim Hye Ja as Lee Hae Sook, a woman who reunites with her husband in heaven after death. Unlike the other residents of heaven—including her husband Go Nak Joon (Son Suk Ku), who has chosen to return to the 30-something version of himself—Lee Hae Sook makes the unusual choice to keep her 80-year-old appearance.

On the previous episode of “Heavenly Ever After,” it was revealed that Lee Hae Sook was the pastor (Ryu Deok Hwan)’s long-lost mother. Meanwhile, Som Yi (Han Ji Min) came one step closer to figuring out her identity as she pieced together some of her newly resurfaced memories.

In the upcoming episode of the drama, the pastor walks Lee Hae Sook Home for the last time after deciding to be reincarnated. As they stand frozen in place and stare into one another’s eyes, seemingly unable to turn away from one another, their regret and sorrow at having to say goodbye is heartbreaking.

After waving goodbye at the reincarnation gate, Lee Hae Sook wanders the streets with a hollow, lost expression while missing a shoe.

Meanwhile, Lee Hae Sook’s pet cat Sonya (Choi Hee Jin) appears in front of Go Nak Joon and Som Yi once again. One photo shows her walking next to Go Nak Joon and listening to what he has to say, while another captures her gazing keenly at Som Yi—piquing curiosity as to exactly what she knows.

The “Heavenly Ever After” production team teased, “Finally, the secrets behind the relationships that were shrouded in mystery will be revealed. Where did the memories recalled by Som Yi come from, and why was she destined to go to hell after forgetting everything? Please stay tuned until the end to learn her hidden story.”

The next episode of “Heavenly Ever After” will air on May 24 at 10:40 p.m. KST.
