Son Suk Ku And Kim Hye Ja Promise To Get Married Again In The Next Life In "Heavenly Ever After" Finale
JTBC’s “Heavenly Ever After” has unveiled a new glimpse of its upcoming series finale!
“Heavenly Ever After” is a transcendent romance drama starring Kim Hye Ja as Lee Hae Sook, a woman who reunites with her husband in heaven after death. Unlike the other residents of heaven—including her husband Go Nak Joon (Son Suk Ku), who has chosen to return to the 30-something version of himself—Lee Hae Sook makes the unusual choice to keep her 80-year-old appearance.

On the previous episode of “Heavenly Ever After,” the mysterious identity of Som Yi (Han Ji Min) was finally revealed—and when Lee Hae Sook ultimately forgave herself, Som Yi disappeared. Meanwhile, Lee Hae Sook and Go Nak Joon’s long-lost son Go Eun Ho (Ryu Deok Hwan)—better-known to us as the pastor—decided to undergo reincarnation.
In newly released stills from the drama’s final episode, Lee Hae Sook and Go Nak Joon wave goodbye to the heaven staff at the reincarnation center. After deciding to be reincarnated, the loving couple promises one another that they will get married and live together again in their next lives.
The “Heavenly Ever After” production team teased, “Up until now, we have introduced Lee Hae Sook’s many different relationships, traversing her life on Earth and her afterlife, her past lives and her current one. Please keep an eye on how Lee Hae Sook and Go Nak Joon wound up becoming a married couple.”
The final episode of “Heavenly Ever After” will air on May 25 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
