Park Min Young Confirmed To Star In Korean Adaptation Of Japanese Comedy Drama "The Confidence Man JP"

Park Min Young will be starring in a new drama!

On May 26, Amazon Prime Video confirmed that the first-ever Amazon original Korean drama “The Confidence Man KR” (working title), starring Park Min Young, will be produced.

A Korean adaptation of the Japanese comedy drama “The Confidence Man JP,” “The Confidence Man KR” will tell the story of three credit fraudsters with extraordinary talents who take on villains from all walks of life.

In the drama, Park Min Young will showcase her versatility as Yoon Yi Rang, the leader of a con artist group with a genius-level intellect.

A representative of the production company HIGROUND stated, “Having Park Min Young star in an Amazon original drama is not only a major achievement for the actress herself but also sets a new milestone in the history of K-content. It is a recognition of Park Min Young’s value as a global actress who transcends Korea to reach audiences worldwide. Filming for “The Confidence Man KR,” which consists of 12 episodes, began in September 2024 and has recently wrapped. The show is now awaiting its premiere in the second half of 2025. Stay tuned!
