Watch: Namkoong Min And Jeon Yeo Been Showcase Their Chemistry And Acting Skills During Poster Shoot For "Our Movie"
SBS’s upcoming drama “Our Movie” has unveiled a new making-of video, capturing moments from its poster shoot!
“Our Movie” will tell the poignant love story of Lee Je Ha (Namkoong Min), a film director struggling with an uncertain future, and Lee Da Eum (Jeon Yeo Been), an aspiring actress who is suffering from a terminal illness.
The newly released video offers a glimpse into the drama’s heartfelt narrative and the chemistry between the leads. It begins with interviews featuring the two lead actors, each introducing their characters. Namkoong Min describes his role, saying, “Lee Je Ha is a character who gave up on filmmaking due to painful memories of his father. He ends up casting Da Eum—who has a terminal illness—through a fateful encounter, and through her, he begins to rediscover love.”
Jeon Yeo Been also shares her thoughts on her character, remarking, “Da Eum may be living with a terminal condition, but she cherishes life more than anyone. She passionately pursues her dreams and love.”
The video then captures the two during their poster shoot, where they share lighthearted moments while reviewing footage together. For the posters that require each actor to appear tearful, they seamlessly slip into their emotional roles, earning genuine admiration from the staff on set.
Finally, Namkoong Min reflects on the tone of the drama, echoing the director’s comparison of the series to a mildly flavored Pyongyang Naengmyeon (Korean cold noodle dish). He shares, “In today’s world, we hope to bring viewers a classic romance drama. We poured our hearts into this, and I’m both confident and curious to see how audiences will respond.”
