Watch: YG Introduces 1st Member Of New Girl Group "NEXT MONSTER"

YG Entertainment has unveiled the first member of its upcoming girl group!

Earlier this week, YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun Suk announced his plans to debut a new four-member girl group. Yang Hyun Suk explained that the members would be revealed to the public this year as trainees, the same way that the BABYMONSTER members were introduced before their debut, and that he hopes to release solo songs by members of the new girl group next year.

On May 28 at midnight KST, YG Entertainment officially introduced Evelli, the first member of its new girl group (which is currently going by the name “NEXT MONSTER”). Evelli, who is Australian, is 15 years old and has trained at YG Entertainment for two years.
