Upcoming drama “Hunter with a Scalpel” has released new stills of Park Ju Hyun and Kang Hoon!

“Hunter with a Scalpel” is a psychological crime thriller starring Park Ju Hyun as Seo Se Hyun, a brilliant but troubled forensic pathologist. One day, while conducting an autopsy, Se Hyun recognizes the signature murder method of her father—a serial killer who she thought had died 20 years ago—and sets out to find him before the police.

Seo Se Hyun is known for solving cold cases with her exceptional autopsy skills, but her sociopathic tendencies and icy personality often cause conflict with those around her. In contrast, Jung Jung Hyun (Kang Hoon) is a compassionate detective who firmly believes people are inherently good.

The two are polar opposites—Seo Se Hyun’s cold logic and sharp judgment versus Jung Jung Hyun’s warmth and optimism—but they become connected through a single case. Their striking differences and unexpected chemistry are expected to be highlights of the show.

Newly released stills capture their first meeting, highlighting their contrasting personalities. Jung Hyun, a team leader in the violent crimes unit at Yongcheon Police Station, visits the National Forensic Service to ask for Se Hyun’s help with a case. Having long admired her, Jung Hyun looks at Se Hyun with a mix of excitement and respect. Meanwhile, Se Hyun remains calm and composed, showing no reaction to his interest.

The relationship between Seo Se Hyun and Jung Jung Hyun, defined by their sharp differences, will constantly shift back and forth between cooperation and suspicion, keeping viewers hooked.

Se Hyun is determined to find her serial killer father before Jung Hyun does in order to hide her secret past. As Jung Hyun gets closer to the truth, he feels drawn to Se Hyun, but also can’t help feeling suspicious of her. Their emotional tension and strong on-screen chemistry will give viewers yet another reason to look forward to the drama.
