Park Bo Gum, Kim So Hyun, Lee Sang Yi, And More Share Fierce Declarations Of Justice Ahead Of “Good Boy” Premiere
Just three days ahead of its premiere, the five leads of JTBC’s “Good Boy” have shared bold declarations of justice!
“Good Boy” is a comic action drama that follows a group of former national athletes—Yoon Dong Joo (Park Bo Gum), Ji Han Na (Kim So Hyun), Kim Jong Hyun (Lee Sang Yi), Go Man Sik (Heo Sung Tae), and Shin Jae Hong (Tae Won Suk)—who become police officers through a special recruitment program. Swapping medals for badges, they take on a world full of corruption, deception, and injustice.
Park Bo Gum, who plays rookie officer and former boxing gold medalist Yoon Dong Joo, delivered a fiery message: “The righteous always catch the wicked. Impossible is nothing.” His words reflect Dong Joo’s relentless drive and refusal to tolerate injustice.
Kim So Hyun, starring as sharpshooting gold medalist Ji Han Na, delivered a sharp and confident line: “Justice stands with the truth.” Her composed yet powerful declaration mirrors Han Na’s cool-headedness and unwavering sense of right and wrong.
Lee Sang Yi, playing fencing silver medalist Kim Jong Hyun, didn’t hold back: “Don’t even think about running away!” His terse, commanding warning reveals his no-nonsense attitude and dedication to justice.
Heo Sung Tae, taking on the role of bronze medal-winning wrestler and team leader Go Man Sik, delivered a heavy-hitting message: “There are too many shameless people in this world. If you’ve made someone shed blood and tears, you’ll get it back the same way.” His grounded conviction and unflinching sense of justice are fitting for the team’s sturdy and principled leader.
Finally, Tae Won Suk, as discus bronze medalist Shin Jae Hong, delivered a simple yet powerful promise: “Justice will be served.” Just like his imposing presence, his words land with force.
“Good Boy” is set to premiere on May 31 at 10:40 p.m. KST.
