Upcoming film “Hi-5” has shared a sneak peek of Shin Goo’s character!

“Hi-5” is a comic action adventure about five people who unexpectedly gain different superpowers through organ transplants and must defend themselves against those who seek to exploit their abilities.

Veteran actor Shin Goo has earned unwavering trust from audiences through sincere performances across films, dramas, theater, and variety shows over many years. In “Hi-5,” he is set to deliver yet another powerful performance as the main villain Young Chun.

After a pancreas transplant, Young Chun, leader of a new religious sect, gains the power to absorb youth. Leaving behind his weak past, he is reborn as a strong, vibrant young man. Driven by a desire for immortality, Young Chun discovers other organ transplant recipients and begins hunting them to take their powers.

Director Kang Hyung Chul said of Shin Goo, “Everything he said felt like a movie scene. Just being able to work together on a project was a valuable opportunity,” expressing anticipation for Shin Goo’s powerful performance in the film.

Co-actor GOT7’s Jinyoung, who shares the role of Young Chun with Shin Goo, said, “He brings meaning to every gesture, from his speech to his walk. It was an honor to play the same role inspired by his performance.” Their collaboration promises a powerful chemistry that spans generations.
