Lee Jung Ha, Kim Do Wan, Kim Sang Ho, And Kim Joo Ryoung Each Have Their Unique Stories In “ONE: High School Heroes” Posters
Upcoming drama “ONE: High School Heroes” has shared character posters for Lee Jung Ha, Kim Do Wan, Kim Sang Ho, and Kim Joo Ryoung!
Based on a popular webtoon, “ONE : High School Heroes” is a high school action drama that follows Kim Ui Gyeom (Lee Jung Ha), a top student who has long suffered under the oppression of his father and Kang Yoon Gi (Kim Do Wan), who seeks to use Ui Gyeom’s fighting prowess for his own purposes. Together, they form the masked vigilante group “High School Heroes” and unleash their suppressed rage to overturn the school’s violent social order.
The newly released posters draw attention with the characters’ intense gazes and expressions that hint at each of their unique stories. In the first poster, Lee Jung Ha perfectly embodies Kim Ui Gyeom, a character who transforms from a model student into a high school hero who awakens his fighting instincts. The caption on the poster, which reads “This is my first rebellion,” and Ui Gyeom’s expression—like he has just realized something—suggest that he is starting to break free from his father’s control and is ready for change.
The next poster captures Kim Do Wan as Yoon Gi, who recognizes Ui Gyeom’s fighting instincts and pulls him into a world of violence. The caption, “No, you’re going to have to fight no matter what,” heightens anticipation for Yoon Gi’s role in the masked vigilante group.
Another poster depicts Kim Sang Ho as Kim Seok Tae, Ui Gyeom’s father—a man who subjects his son to extreme discipline and oppression in an effort to make him a doctor. The caption, “Are you defying me right now?” reveals the intensity of Seok Tae’s oppressive nature.
The last poster shows Kim Joo Ryoung as Myung Da Bin, Ui Gyeom’s mother, who begins to change in order to protect her son from her husband’s harsh methods. The caption, “Ui Gyeom, I’m sorry,” expresses her heartfelt feelings toward her son.
“ONE : High School Heroes” will premiere on May 30.
