Red Velvet’s Yeri In Talks Along With Koo Kyo Hwan, Song Kang Ho, And More For “Inside Men” Drama Adaptation
Red Velvet’s Yeri is expanding her acting career and may soon appear in the drama adaptation of “Inside Men”!
On May 29 KST, a local media outlet reported that Yeri will join the upcoming drama “Inside Men.” In response to the report, her agency Blitzway Entertainment stated, “Actress Kim Yerim is positively reviewing the offer to appear in ‘Inside Men.’”
The drama was officially announced last September as a remake of the 2015 film “Inside Men,” Korea’s highest-grossing R-rated film of all time. Song Kang Ho was previously confirmed to lead the cast as Lee Kang Hee, a character originally played by Baek Yoon Shik, while Koo Kyo Hwan has reportedly been offered to play Ahn Sang Goo, a mob boss who handled the dirty work for powerful figures in politics and business.
Other actors previously reported to join the drama include Lee Moo Saeng, Soo Ae, Kim Ji Yeon, Lee Sung Min, and Shin Seung Ho.
Earlier this year, Yeri parted ways with her longtime agency SM Entertainment, where she debuted and promoted as a member of Red Velvet. In early May, Yeri signed with her new agency Blitz Entertainment to focus on her acting career under her real name Kim Yerim.
